Crowsnest Powerpoint Adaptations
I made several changes to the original powerpoint presentation. I added an outline and summary slide to better organize the data. Likewise, I reduced the amount of information on the slides. I took out excess information, and utilized point form instead of paragraphs. I added additional slides to space out the information and catagorized it in meaningful ways (ex. ecological benefits, positive and negative outcomes etc). I made certain to contrast the background and the font color to make it easier to read. I used a consistent style throughout every slide. Each slide contains a title, and the font is Times New Roman. Titles were always in font 36, with each additional subpoint being 28 then 24 consecutively. I double checked the spelling as well. One of the biggest drawbacks to my presentation is apparent when considering printed handouts. Normally, a good rule of thumb is utilizing a light background and dark font. In this case, the background would need to be removed in order to read the handouts more easily.
